Category talk:Inactive Groups
Added in Error?
If you are here, chances are the {{InactiveGroup}} template has been added on your page. So what are you to do?
- The "easy way" is to simply remove {{InactiveGroup}} from the main page, and {{InactiveGrouptalk}} from the talk page.
- Once you've done that, then simply re-add [[Category:Groups]] and any other categories your group might belong to (Pker groups, zombie groups, etc.)
- Note that [[Category:Inactive Groups]] is taken away automatically once you remove the template.
- Alternatively, you can simply revert the edit. This isn't the best idea if there has been a purge recently, or if you simply don't know how. Otherwise, the above way is better.
Please only do the above if you are active.
If you are having any trouble, just post on this page.

Where does one go to delete a group page? I had created a group D.o.W. that was short lived and does not need to be on the inactive list, and can be deleted completely. Matt Aries 16:42, 7 November 2009 (UTC)
Kleptocracy has reactivated. Please remove them from the inactive list. --User:Kleptocracy 11:07, 4 December 2010 (UTC)

Not Inactive
Please help me. My group has been labeled inactive and I must confess I am not familiar enough with wiki to feel comfortable making changes. My group is a Death Cult called Harbingers of Peace. I believe I am currently the sole active member, but I am active and recruiting. Can you please undo the changes for me? -Finnigan AKA KingRoach
- Hi there, I have reverted the change for you. If you need any other help, leave a message at my talk page and I'll swing by and see what I can do. -- RoosterDragon 20:34, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks Rooster. And sorry Finnigan :(. Linkthewindow Talk 08:27, 20 February 2009 (UTC)
AoM will soon come out of its inactivity. I'm the new leader, a new forum and a new wiki are in the works, to be expected within the next two months or so. This is the account from which I will be leading the new AoM http://urbandead.com/profile.cgi?mode=edit&id=1108054

It's none of my business as I'm not part of the group, just I noticed on the stats page that all their members are level 41. I clicked on the wiki link and they're marked inactive. Surely if they're on the stats page, they're not inactive?--Lexicality 08:24, 21 February 2009 (UTC)
- Removed, thanks. I must have forgotten to check the stat-page there. Linkthewindow Talk 09:12, 21 February 2009 (UTC)

I'm resurrecting the news group. Can I get the Inactive Group designation lifted from it? --Les Nessman 03:45, 26 January 2011 (UTC)
- I took the inactive templates off your main and talk pages. Basically, at the top of both pages, there was this bit of code:
- {{InactiveGrouptalk|12:49, 20 January 2009 (UTC)}}
- and
- {{InactiveGroup|12:49, 20 January 2009 (UTC)}}.
- All of you have to do is just remove them. Welcome back. Us press people have to stick together. -MHSstaff 05:14, 26 January 2011 (UTC)
Cult of Cockfucktus
The group Cult of Cockfucktus was marked inactive in 2010 but, as far back as I can remember, their name has appeared on the game stats page. I do not know if this group is the same as the historic group but, as of this moment, there are 17 there and the entry links to the inactive group page. Most of the current members seem to be zerge listed and are engaged in a griefing/ text rape campaign. If they are a different group, could we at least get a disambiguation or something on the talk page? -- Albert Schwan Tuesday, 20 September 2011
