Description

Red bricked buildings line the alley which is partially blocked by a collapsed fire escape. Windows and doors are boarded up, hiding any signs of life. The smell of Cheesy Poofs lingers in the air, still emanating from the nearby Floyde Cheezy Factory, nearly a decade after the last snack was produced.

History

Since the opening of the nearby Floyde Cheezy Factory in 1983, the odour from the factory has been a contentious issue for residents. In early 2005 the residents of Davies Alley, and neighbouring Gilling Crescent, Forshaw and Bealey Towers launched a class action lawsuit against Floyde Cheezies, arguing that the factory's smell was making the area uninhabitable. The residents asked the judge to prevent Floyde Cheezies from producing cheesy poofs until Floyde Cheezies implemented odour control measures at the factory. Court proceedings were interrupted by the zombie outbreak.
