As such, Malls are frequently used as safehouses and fortresses by survivors. Zombies often check inside (when they can get in), and organized zombie groups sometimes lay siege to them. They are listed as a Tactical Resource Point. Characters with the Shopping skill can loot specific stores. Those without will find these items at random: Bookstore: books, poetry books. Drugstore: first aid kits. Gun Store: pistols, pistol clips, shotguns, shotgun shells. Hardware Store: crowbars, fire axes, flare guns, spray cans, knives, portable generators, toolboxes. Liquor Store: beer, wine. Sporting Goods: baseball bats, cricket bats, fencing foils, golf clubs, hockey sticks, pool cues, ski poles, tennis rackets. Tech Store: GPS units, mobile phones, radios, radio transmitters, video cameras. Malls are large buildings, and are barricaded as such.

Drummond Mall

Drummond Mall is a 4-block mall located in the west of West Monroeville. It is one of the places where cameras can be found to record diaries.

Drummond specializes in high technology and agricultural vehicles. Despite its urban location, it was the primary location for farming purchases before the outbreak.

July 27th

Some survivors are still working hard to regain control over the mall. There are only a handful of zombies inside. Cades are up and you only need to kill and to repair the building damage(0 AP needed!). We need more surivors helping to get the mall. You will find valuable ressources like ammo, generators or FAKs. So, get up, get inside, kill the zeds and dump them out. We will barricade the place! --Kolleen

June 23nd

I woke up with 2hp but managed to escape this morning, before I did I saw that there were 7 zeds in the north and west block and 2 in the east block, there are probably more in the south block so that is at least 16+ zeds. There were 11 survivors in the north block still when I left, none in the others. Looks like it will be in zed hands in a matter of time. --G Higgins 09:32, 23 June 2008 (GMT)

The Mall is now safe and secure. 8 Zombies seen outside at the north end of the mall, but a lot of dead bodies. All corners are barricaded and secure. We still lack power, but this is definately a start. --Degree7 21:34, 30 March 2008 (GT)

Last I heard on 28.01, Drummond Mall was taken down and there were 29 Zeds inside. Please confirm and update Mall status accordingly if you have more information about this. – SadYear 12:03, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

Northern, eastern and middle blocks powered and loosely barricaded. Northern generator badly damaged. Could use some barricaders over here. The only thing keeping us and the zombies apart in the northern block is a lead pipe. --CWisGood
