The Elephant House is a part of the Malton City Zoo.
Description
History
In the days before the Outbreak, the Elephant House at the Malton City Zoo was famous for its success in breeding both African and Asian elephants in captivity. Experts were quoted as saying "The elephants just really liked the atmosphere. We think the lava lamps had something to do with it."
Current Use
The Elephant House is a safe, but smelly, place to sleep at this time. Despite the best efforts of The Malton Zookeepers that smell just won't come out.
Barricade Policy
Survivors are encouraged to keep the barricades at VSB+2 in this location. Visitors without the Freerunning skill are welcome to sleep here at their own risk, but are advised to bring lots of deodorant and a change of clothes with them.
Animal Update
It's been confirmed that at least one elephant has returned to the zoo, but rarely sleeps at the Elephant House. Honestly? We're pretty sure he can't stand the smell either. I mean really, if you were forced to sleep in a big smelly house for years and then had a choice as to whether or not you went back....would you sleep there again?
Have you seen an animal wandering the city of Malton? Report it at the Zoo Website and the Zookeepers will do their best to relocate the poor creature to its proper home.
