Factory 55,10

Description

The old factory.

History

It is unknown what this factory produced before the outbreak, but seemed to specialize in maintenance of automated packaging machines. It closed in 2001 and never reopened.

Since then, Survivors have turned it into a virtual fortress against the Zombie threat. It is set apart from the rest of Millen Hills, not really part of a city block but situated on a small knoll overlooking a nearby hospital.

The factory consists of a main structure and a smaller wall adjoining it, which used to open into delivery areas. The main structure consists of several levels of empty spaces with a number of large windows, and two sets of staircases which go all the way up to the fourth floor. Next to this part of the structure is another wing, mainly comprised of windowless storage rooms, now filled with discarded pieces of old machinery. Survivors can find it useful to fort up here should the Zombies ever break through the main gates.

Possibly the most interesting trait of the factory is its previously-unused tower, which provides an adequate lookout point for Survivors to see the surrounding area and be warned of approaching Zombie hordes.

Barricade Policy
