Game Show
Please check The host list for areas and current Host status!
The Show
The Game show was founded by seth1r8. This is a show based on good will, there isn't a way to reward players besides a little EXP on the side, so don't join if you think the show is for profit. Currently , seth1r8, is the only person running the show, he is based in VineTown at the buckett building. To join up try to meet with a host and ask, you can probably get in next week.
historic events
The original game show was based in the whitecombe auto repair building. It failed to take off there, so it moved to Vinetown where it has found some hope of making it big.
Positions
All positions carry a badge in their profile: ===+Position here+=== this tells people what the person is for the show.
- Hosts. All hosts were once aides They carry the badge Game Show Host, and are members of Game Show. They pick and monitor games for the week.
- Aides and Assistants. Aides are personal helpers of the host. They help make sure the base is setup properly and help setup the next game. They are allowed to step in if the host is not there. They have the Aide/assistant badge. They can also play as participants, their position earning little advantage. The are also members of the game show. ***ALL ASSISTANTS SHOULD BE PRESENT FOR AT LEAST 3 GAMES PRIOR TO PROMOTION***
- The Participants. The Participants are players who wish to play in the show. They are NOT members of the Game Show. They have the participant badge and hopefully are kind enough to follow the rules of the games. Please don't disrupt the game, and if you want to join a episode please come on Saturday at 2 PM EST.
every one is welcome to advertise for the show in whatever way possible! on the Wiki or in game!
Normal Equipment
Some equipment is special demand for a game but you might want to carry one of these at all times:
mobile phone This allows me to come into contact with you privately and vise-versa.
radio the frequency is set to the normal of the suburb. we can use this to broadcast information to each other en mass. also it is used to send current statistic to the public who want to hear, so we can get some publicity and newer people
Games and their Equipment
There are few games at the time, a few of them requiring special equipment. The Games are listed here for everyone to look at and learn. The game that will be played next should be told on the briefing day, along with the list of equipment needed.
- QUIZ! the quiz is a basic quizzing thing. If you are the first to answer correctly, you aren't shot by the host or his Aide. This can be anything! multiple choice, fill in the black, or who said "X"? No category limitations! can be from a an internet meme to the quadratic formula to how many teeth does spongebob have?
Role of the Host: Ask questions, shoot non answerers. Role of Participants: Answer questions, try not to be shot. Role of Aides: help shoot, try not to be shot.
- Survey SAYS! this is taken right from that show! We take the two most living contestants, ask them questions about what they think about something more statistical, but isn't factual. The remaining players are they servayed for their opinion and then we compare the results.
Role of the host: Ask the questions and gather the survey, award the loser a bullet. Role of participants: Answer the question as you see fit. role of aides: Answer the question as you see fit, possible shoot someone.
- Pistol TAG! In this game the players hide out in the suburb. they can go outdoors but not in hospitals or malls. They then Text the host their hiding spot once they settle in. The host does not play here. One person is randomly shot by the host and is "It." They must then seek out the other participants (keeping a paper with their names would be good) and if they find and hit another player that person is it. If you find someone report it to the host, until further notice that person is it. If a person becomes a zombie when tagged then that attacker remains it. IT SHOULD BE REPORTED IF SOMEONE BECOMES A ZOMBIE. this game can go on until next Saturday, at which the host should count up the "tags" made onto people and declare a winner. IF SOMEONE DIES THAT MUST BE REPORTED!flak jackets and first aid kits are acceptable here. *SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: a piece of paper with all the players names on it.*
role of Host: Make sure everyone is hiding where they're supposed to be, broadcast current data to public. Role of participants: Hide out, seek out when your it, report all it changes to host. Role of aides: see above.
- The RidleyBank CAMP OUT! Everyone should have what they want by Sunday for this. There is no competition here, just a matter of survival. We all go with supplies (axes are nice) and try to establish ourselves in a building (Hosts and Aides should carry a toolbox to set up the building, participants needn't anything they don't want.Club Vaughan would do nicely, as a place to party.) We then can tell ghost stories and hope we aren't dead by morning. If we survive, we can go home.
Role everyone: Make a nice home for the night and pray none of you are mauled by mourning.
- Malton Race! We race around the edge of Malton. The host will also run, but only to keep the players in check. There is a picked starting point, depending on the shows current base, and we start there. Each time the host should receive a RADIO broadcast from the players to make sure they're in the right suburb, and stay there until the next day around noon. Before the final stretch the host should go back to the starting point and wait for the participants. First one to come and wound the host is the winner. IF YOU FAIL TO BROADCAST BY NOON THE NEXT DAY YOU ARE OUT OF THE RACE! SORRY IF YOU ARE KILLED BY A ZED! All buildings are accessible for this game. Also radio transmitters should come in bulk because you might not find a building with one. you might also want to bring a portable generator to use it.
Role of Host: stay at the finish line. Role of aides: Report to the host via mobile phone who's still in the race. Role of participants: Race, have fun, not die.
- Dare. Dares are dares. they could be anything really. Spend the night outside, jump from a window, be first to hit the host. Most any game not covered fits in here.
Role of everyone: varies.
Thank you for Playing
we are just a group of people looking for friendly competition. Nothing bad, please no language and try to be nice.
