I know what you're asking - Who's this General Aaron? It's a very good question - I'm not entirely sure either. In the last few month's vigil, however, I've become convinced that the military presence keeping Malton quarantined can be directly attributed to this guy.
The problem? Well, as much as I've dug, as much as I've probed the minds of every military contact I have, and checked every paper from now to 1930, there's not a scrap of evidence to suggest that the guy ever existed, let alone climbed the ranks to become general. In fact, the only evidence that even hints at a General Aaron in the military structure was an oblique reference from the Commander of Fort Creedy, in a radio message in the early Outbreak claiming that "General Aaron will have my head for this!"
So, what's the scoop? I have no idea. His signature is on the orders for the military order keeping the Malton Quarantine Forces in place. I know that no one gets in or out of Malton without his say-so. And I know that he's clearly a figment of someone's imagination. And I'll bet that as soon as we find General Aaron, we'll find what exactly happenned in Malton.
