Historical Significance Section

The Giddings Defenders were formed during The January Siege of Giddings Mall as an attempt by Sgt Whiskey Swiper to coordinate the defence of Giddings Mall. After the The Giddings Mall Defence Policy was implemented it became clear that the groups defending Giddings Mall needed a centralised place/group to discuss tactics.

Formed half way through the Siege, it became a relatively powerful group that united formerly distant groups with a common goal. After the fall of Giddings Mall, the Giddings Defenders did not disband, and returned as the Alliance of Giddings.

The Giddings Defenders never had any real policies and was open to all survivors in the Mall.

The aftermath of the Giddings Defenders looks to be a positive future for all members of the Alliance of Giddings.
