Urban dead requires users to log into an account in order to play. This process is very simple, and those familiar with any website (or computer, for that matter) that requires one to provide a username and password in order to continue should proceed without trouble. If you've already got an account, logging into Urban Dead can be accomplished in three easy steps.
- Enter your character name into the name box.
- Enter the relevant password for your character in the password box.
- Press the Log In button.
If your browser saves passwords, then
Log-In Failed
There are a number reasons why your log-in may fail. If your login fails to bring you to a new page, the username and password you provided is not valid.
- Invalid character name - The character you're trying to log on to doesn't exist yet. Make sure it's the one you registered with, and that it is spelled correctly.
- Invalid password - The password you entered is the wrong password for this account. Check your spelling.
If you've honestly forgotten either your password or character name, click on the "Forgotten your password or character names?" link[1] below the login box. You will be asked to provide your email address. Urban Dead will send your character information to the email specified.
If you did NOT previously supply an email for your character(s), your old account is lost. Create a new character to continue playing Urban Dead.[2]
Of course, make sure you've already created an account using the large Create a Character button near the middle of the screen, and that it is your own account you're trying to log into.
