Help talk:Tables
I hope you are already aware of the -moz-border-radius feature that allows you to round table borders while using firefox ? --People's Commissar Hagnat [cloned] [mod] 03:45, 22 September 2006 (BST)
Hey Goebi, that's some really nice work with the new colourings, the new look breaks up the page very pleasantly. -- T 04:32, 26 July 2007 (BST)
Tables
The group page I'm setting up works through the use of tables. So far, it's looking fairly sharp I think. How ever, when I go to add text to the main body of the article, the background gets thrown out of proportion, and everything goes out of whack. So I attempted to use another table for the actual text, however, that seems to create the same amount of havock. I've added examples in our sandbox. What I'm looking to do is maintain the size, and boarders of the what's already there when I add something. When I saw that it wouldn't work that way, I tried another table, thinking it would remain within the confines of the first. You see how that worked out... None the less, I'm hoping for a little help here.... Any suggestions? -Poodle of DoomT*C 17:27, 23 September 2011 (BST)
- Well I'm not sure what your going for exactly but I changed a few things around and posted the final product at the bottom of the page. It works with walls of text as I posted. You can insert a table into the page as well just specify a width that will fit in the space and it shoudn't force it to the bottom. 18:29, 23 September 2011 (BST)
- My gosh, I feel so stupid now. I see what you did there, and it's the one thing I haven't tried. I can't believe I just have to seperate the header, and body.... Thanks! -Poodle of DoomT*C 20:27, 23 September 2011 (BST)
