Mr Hepplethwaite join the army as a Rifleman, He survived many fights with the Germans. It took him many years untill he reached the rank of Sergant.
Quote from his best friend with him on the day that Mr. Hepplethwaite died. "As I was landing the Helicopter, Hepplethwaite hurried and carried his injured team mate to my Helicopter, but in the process Four Germans came to destroy the Helicopter. he told to me go, So I did, He managed to kill two Germans, but sadly got shot, falling to the floor. The two Germans walked over him and shot him twice in the head"
