Things went really well today. I made it to Hollomstown easily, and found a zombie. I started attacking it. Used up all my shotgun shells, but I got a lot of experience. I went into the police station to find it only strongly fortified. Even though the fortification isn't really great, this is still prime real estate, largely because there are 32 people in this building with me. I think tha's enough to keep me safe the night, don't you? Anyways, I searched the police station and found some pistol clips and a flak jacket.

Today's activities went well. I was too skittish to sleep as long as I had planned to, so instead, I got up after 15 hours of sleep, put my fuel in the generator, which had run out of fuel, and started searching. On only my second search i came upon a fire axe. I was still feeling spry, so I went outside. I found a zombie just standing around, so I started attacking him, I shot him a bunch of times with my pistol, using up all of my remaining bullets, and seriously wounding him, then I started beating him with my fists, before remembering that i had the axe. I hit him with the axe a few times, and did some pretty serious damage. He'll think twice before coming around the Haim Walk Fire station again. I was getting a little weary of the fight, so I headed back to the fire station to get some more rest. The generator was still running fine, and three more people had come into the station. Good news, as I had seen a couple zombies nearby. Right now there's ZombieJustice, Spanky1234, Lnbodibic, and throatWarbler in here. That should be enough to hold zombies off, especially seeing as our building is heavily barricaded. I am going to rest for a long time, then try to get out of Wyke hills tomorrow. My map says that the quickest route would be to go east into Hollomstown. I originally planned on going the other way so that I could visit Buckley Mall and look for some ammo, but recent reports have indicated to me that the zeds are engaging humans in fierce combat over there. I would love a piece of that, but I'm out of pistol rounds and my axe skill is too low to do any real trouble. Hollomstown should be a good place to start my life here in Malton, since it seems as though , by all accounts, it has a relatively low zombie population, and a police station, which I'm hoping will be unlocked. This seems like a good place to get some experience and find some ammo and weapons, so I will start leaving today, I'll move only a couple blocks over, though, just to be safe.
Quick Update I found a shotgun with two shells, in the pub nest to the place I was earlier. It's a strongly barricaded building with one occupant, and I should be able to hold off any zeds with my shotgun. This new weapons increases my need to find some ammunition, though, so I will have to really hoof it once I get into Hollomstown.

NOT a good day. I woke up in the same place I went to sleep, which means I didn't die. Good for me. I went nearly to the edge of this suburb just to take a look in a police station. I got there only to find it too heavily barricaded by some damned fool survivor. I need that free running skill so bad it's not funny. There was a zombie nearby, and I fired at him twice, only to find out when I hit on the second shot that he had fifty health, more than a match for me to be sure, i knew i should have stuck around to kill the one I found with 15 health, and just have finished him off. I ran away and made my way back toward the center of town, checking all the buildings I came across. Extremely heavily barrricaded, every one that could potentially give me something good, at least. One junkyard was open, but it yielded nothing more interesting than a goddamned length of pipe. Whoop-dee-doo. I made my way back to the center of town, but instead of going into the Sharpe Library, I went to the Wolfendall arms and read my newspaper. Some dumb crap about cemetery overcrowding. That's certainly one problem they don't have to worry about. I tossed it away in disgust. I kept searching the area for a while, found a bottle of wine, and a bottle of beer, then read my book from the Sharpe Library just before drifting off to sleep. What a crappy day. not a damned thing accomplished, really. The pipe will be of some help. Not exactly heavy ordnance, but at least it does more than my fists. I looked at a map, and it said there is a fire station to the south west of where I'm staying tonight. Well good, that means I'll have something productive to do tomorrow.
Quick update. I just found out that the reason so many buildings are barricaded is because of a cognitive plan to do so. This is great for most people, but I need to find ammo, and lots of it. I'm gonna get out of this place in the next couple of days, and see if I can't find myself a quieter, more open place. This place does have good defenses, though, maybe I'll come back when I've got free running.
Quick update. I woke up after a quick nap, and made it to the Haim fire station. I looked around for only a moment before I fell down, exhausted. There's another guy here, ZombieJustice he says his name is. With a name like that, i hope he'll fend off any zombies that come by before I wake up. i'm going to sleep a full 25 hours before I go out again, and I'm not going out until I find that fire axe I need. I'll kill a few zombies then, and put a rank into axe proficiency. that should be enough to get me out of Wyke Hills safely. I hope.

Things went well for me today, very well. I went further today than I did yesterday, and in doing so really got a feel for my suburb. I've tried to get into places like police stations, junkyards, and hospitals. You know, the places where the good stuff is. Problem was, most all of them were either zombie infested or barricaded too high for me to get in. Gotta remember to pick up that free running skill. I got so far into the city, but I was getting low on energy, and I decided to head back. I couldn't make it all the way back to Sharpe Library, which is essentially my base camp for the time being, but I did get into the Witt Arms, just barely. It turned out well, though, because after a bit of reading, during which I learned a couple new things, I was able to search around a bit. Gas! I found gas! I was so happy. Sharpe Library has an unfuelled generator, so tomorrow I will go back and see if it will do any good to fuel it. I found a newspaper too. But I'll read that tomorrow, otta have something to occupy my time, right? Tomorrow I plan to look for a fire station so I can steal an axe. My pistol deals a hammer blow to the zombies, but ammo's gonna be hard to get, moreso without free running. The axe will let me try and get a few kills without wasting precious ammo. Then I can upgrade my pistol skill so that it's less useless.

First F***ing day here and I'm already sick of it. Bastards give me a couple weeks training, slap a pistol in my hand, airdrop me into some god forsaken hell hole, and expect me to help fight some goddamned zombies? Screw that, I'm in this for me from here on in. I'll help folks where I can, but my #1 goal is, well, #1. I'll do what I have to do to survive and get back to the rock. As for events, I ran into my first zombie today in some factory, thought I could just blow him away. I wasted a full pistol clip on him, and I've only got three! What's worse is, I didn't even kill the bastard! I even tried beating him around with my fists a little, but the bastard was fast, He didn't get a blow on me, thank god, but the whole experience certainly shook me up. I ran away from the area and found the library near where I was initially air dropped. The survivors inside had it barricaded to just below full. I was able to get in, but the zombies would have a hard go of it. I plan on sleeping here the night, then maybe going on a little patrol tomorrow. Until I get tougher, though, I'll have to spend each night in a veritable fortress like this one, hopping my way across town, from stronghold to stronghold for any long trips. It's going to be hard, but I think that I'll make it through this.
