Journal: Doctor Firestone
Dr. Firestone's Survivor Journal 03:15, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
Caiger fell yesterday.
The radio's been full of talk, chatter about why it fell, what's going to happen, how screwed the rest of us are, how this marks the beginning of the end for everyone. I don't put much stock in those last two--though it is scary. If Caiger is down, what will happen here?
I'm at Blackmore, incidentally. For the second time, survivors are trying to hold this building, and we're doing a pretty good job. But then again, that's how it was last time.
I got there late for the last one. Wasn't there a week before the zombies got in. Woke up about five days after it fell, three suburbs west of Ridleybank. I must have wandered around as a zombie before someone stuck a syringe in me.
This time, I went over there as soon as I heard people were coming back. It's packed just like last time, crowded with people. Of course, there are even more zombies outside, attracted to the building like flies to a body. They're tearing at the barricades even now, but people are putting them back up just as quickly.
I don't know why I decided to start writing this. I just picked up a pad of paper and a pencil yesterday--who knows how they survived this long. Sitting here resting, I had the sudden thought that I should start writing stuff down. Who knows, maybe if we get out of here one day I can turn this into a book.
(Written faster and hurriedly) They're starting to make some headway on the barricades. I'm going to go help reinforce them now. --Dr. F
23:58, 17 November 2006 (UTC) The last few days have been fairly monotonous, as much as a day can be boring when there are hundreds of zombies just outside the building, every one of which would love to break in and eat you. Radio messages about Caiger are starting to slow, but people still say Blackmore's where the bulk of the horde that toppled Caiger is headed. I guess we'll see when they get here, if they do. --Dr. F
23:54, 29 January 2007 (UTC) Wow, it's been a while since I've written in this. I suppose I've been caught up in things. To make a long story short, Blackmore fell again. Suppose it was only a matter of time. Later, the Blackmore Bastard Brigade broke up. Too bad, really. They were some really nice people. I've been wandering around the malls. Ended up at Nichols. It's a peaceful area. I've been doing a lot of healing and reviving. --Dr. F
