Whenever anybody dies for any reason inside the city of Malton, they will come back to life as a zombie.

No known method exists to kill a zombie. Destroying their heads will only slow their regeneration.

Trained necrotech agents have found a way to revive zombies using potent medicine injected via a syringe, bringing them back to life.

Zombies are aggressive, and seem compelled to attack living beings more than their undead counterparts.

Zombies call to each other and form hordes.

Zombies are unintelligent. They cannot use any human tools or skills that rely on dexterity or intelligence. However, older zombies have become increasingly lucid and intelligent. Some have been known to open doors and talk in a broken, droning form of speech known as "Death Rattle" by survivors.
