Prior to the Outbreak, many of the teachers in Malton were devoted zombie-apocalypse fanatics, studying what was thought to be a hypothetical doomsday scenario. Unsurprisingly, when it turned out the local infestation was real, teachers were amongst the first to realize what was happening and attempted to warn local authorities. For their hard work and attempt to save their fellow citizens, they were mocked and driven away. These outcasts of Malton found natural sanctuary in their own Union, and together watched the spreading outbreak and prepared locally for it. When at last the news broke and the world realized what was going on, the teachers were ready. What they were not ready for was the psychological attack of the omnipresent moans, and consequently, many of the teachers had mental breakdowns.

What We Do

Our primary goal is to further educate the population of Malton. This will be a two part movement:

First we will collaborate information for new citizens. There is plenty of resources and guides around, but a new player can be easily overwhelmed by the sheer magnitude of information. We will assemble this knowledge and create a database that is user friendly. This database will be updated and maintained by the MTU so the most current information is available.

Secondly, we will promote higher education and fair game play for the general Urban Dead community. This will be done by accessing player tactics and critique operations. It is our hope that in doing so, Malton can learn from its' mistakes. We will be open to discussion and debate on the most effective game play.

Goals and Guidelines

To achieve these short- and long-term goals, the Malton Teachers' Union has set forward the following guidelines for teachers in the city:

• Promote fair game play we will seek to promote fair game play amongst all Urban Dead players. In order to get the most accepted gameplay, we will discuss and debate the various "gray tactics" used by players in order to better discern what is considered cheating and what is legit.
• Promote effective groups We will evaluate various Urban Dead groups and grade them on their over all effectiveness. In doing so we can recognize the finest groups Malton has offered and refer new and experienced players to them.

Policies

In order to broaden our intellectual base as much as possible, our membership is open to all interested and helpful players, regardless of history. We are open minded on such issues as Player Killing and Death Culting. However, there is one issue we do have a zero tolerance stance on, and that is zerging. At no time will our members use multiple accounts that may be identified as zerging. If any players have questions on what construes zerging, please contact Gus Thomas.
