The Maltonian Expeditionary Force, led by Captains Dashing and Rugged, has resumed service in light of the recent - and rather rude - outbreak of zombies which interrupted their afternoon tea. Despite their age they still stand proud, and sit proud, particularly in the closest arms they can find. When not drinking like a good gentleman should they do their best to combat the zombie threat to Maltonian peace, by observing enemy movements and writing them down in very neat and ordered notebooks, and doing so very, very seriously. Knowledge is their forte - they know where the zombies are. They know where the pubs are. They know where you are. I say, that's enough, lads.
Recruitment
Unfortunately, due to an impudent zombie attack on the MEF's previous place of residence, the British Legion, and the rather overzealous reaction of the Expeditionary Force, the British Legion burned to the ground and so the MEF is currently on a continuous expedition of sorts, you see. As such, recruitment may be a tad of a problem, you see. However, rest assured, the MEF needs your aid in accomplishing the most splendid task of driving the blasted rotters from Malton, indeed we do. If you wish to sign up to the MEF all you must do is contact one of its members and they will inform one of the commanding officers of your request.
It should be noted that the MEF is non-discriminatory. When we mention the damnable rotters we merely mean those who persist in ruining our afternoon tea, amongst other things. As such, the Maltonian Expeditionary Force will also accept Maltonians into its ranks who have died in previous service - those who are zombified. Again, all you must do is contact us in some way.
