Basic Info:

  • Excellent place to find first aid kits. Zombies frequently check inside.
  • Portable Generators have a use other than powering the lights and increasing search probability in hospitals. Players with the Surgery Skill can heal for 15 HP if the Hospital has a fueled up Generator.
  • Hospitals can be barricaded normally.
  • Among the internal descriptions found in Hospitals:
    • "...its wards and corridors blackened with the soot of a recent fire"
    • "...its empty wards criss-crossed with snapped quarantine tape."
    • "...one of the city's psychiatric hospitals."
    • "...dark corridors leading through abandoned wards."
    • "...its emergency room in disarray."
    • "...its lobby covered with quarantine posters."
    • "...a children's hospital with bright murals across the walls. "
    • "The main lobby is riddled with bullet holes."
    • "It was one of the last to be evacuated, and seems to have been cleared out in a hurry."
    • "...a derelict hospital that was closed down years ago."

Events

12th April 2020You are standing outside Methodius General Hospital, a derelict yellow-stone building with a fountain at its entrance. The building has been extremely heavily barricaded - you can see no way to enter. Lights are on inside. There are six dead bodies here. Mafiamanz (talk) 21:12, 12 April 2020 (UTC)

Dec 16th 2008 Barricades smashed, generator destroyed, survivors eaten, building cleared, ransacked, and demolished. Barhah! --Todesauge 07:21, 16 December 2008 (UTC)

April 8th, 2008 very strong barricaded , with a running generator and 12 survivors inside. --Zombargh 19:16, 8 April 2008 (BST)

September 11th, 2006 - Methodius was secured by an allied joint task force some time ago. It is very safe now, and nearly every zed has been driven south. There have been no recorded break-ins in a couple weeks. --Terminator 484 FedCom 02:47, 12 September 2006 (BST)

August 13th, 2006 - Methodius has fallen to the vanguard of the Big Bash. There are currently three zeds inside.

December 30th, 2005 - After the succesful recapture of the Voizey Drive Police Dept, the hospital has been retaken. New doctors are on their way in.

December 28th, 2005 - The Hospital barricades were destroyed, a few zombies remaining. Need help with barricading.

December 27th, 2005 - The Methodius General Hospital has been infested with zombies. A call to action has been forwarded by User:Zexsuik. Attack runs should be coordinated out of the neighboring Voizey Drive Police Dept. After an attack run inform others of zombie health and numbers.


Current Status
