First Ever Open Air Open Mic

Okay, man… so, you know how the Quartly Study Group maintains an open air truce zone at Quartly Library in Roftwood? Well, if you didn’t know, man, you do now. It’s a place where everyone -- survivors, PKers, and zombies -- can, like, hang out and read books and hear great lectures without worrying about other people, like, coming along and being harsh and shooting at them. People respect that, man, because hey, we all want a little peace, right?

Well, man, we’re taking it one step further. There’s a lot of talent out there in Malton, alive and undead, and it’s time to let that talent show. The QSG are holding an open air open mic on Some Date, and anyone who wants to show up and show off their talents has an open forum to do it. We’re looking for, like, comedians, musicians, singers, poets, storytellers, dancers, jugglers, magicians, contortionists… you get the point, man. The event is going to be hosted by me, Mitch Hedberg (MitchAllTogether), and I’ll be doing some of my stuff, too, man. Even if you’re not much of a performer, you should come out and enjoy the show, man, because that’s what it’s all about.

Shows will begin at X, X, X, and X, and we hope you make it out to one, two, or even all of ‘em, man. We welcome human and zombie performers alike, no matter who you are or what you’ve done since Z-Day, so don’t be shy, man. Just remember to respect the performers, don’t kill your host, and follow the rules of the library. Especially the part about not killing your host, man -- I’m way less funny in Zombish.
