History of the Conflict
On February 8th 2006, the RCDC decided through a direct member vote that the group Newgrounds was no longer welcome in the suburb of Rhodenbank. On being sighted in Rhodenbank, [NG] members were to be given 24 hours notice to clear out. Those that did not were heed this warning were shot or axed. After a handful of deaths, the "gang war" sort of petered out. Subsequent revisions to the [NG] wiki convinced some RCDC members that [NG] were no longer assholey enough to justify continuing the ban. During the week of April 1st 2006, RCDC members voted and by a 2:1 ratio finally lifted the ban.
A minority faction within RCDC still insisted that since Newgrounds counts both humans and zombies among their members--with a studied nonchalance about how this makes any sense IC--they remain a menace to the RCDC's post apocalyptic society. But then again the RCDC never cared much about all that anyway.
All relevant correspondence was copied here from the [NG] discussion page. The RCDC's statement of hostilities that was in effect throughout the conflict has been renamed "Wartime Status". The later "Real Deal" and "Real Real Deal" edits dated from late-March to early-April 2005.

Your group was brought to my attention when one of our members told me
I'm in one of the Necrotech buildings in Rhodenbank and the walls say something along the lines of "[Newgrounds] will destroy RCDC!!! DIE!!!", and then I come back tothe computer after a few hours, and someone named Cloned is saying thesame kind of stuff about how they will take us over...am I missing something?
So I took a gander at your forum. Apparently you think the overbarricading in Rhodenbank is our fault. It isn't; we have lots of noobs in Rbank, and they tend to overbarricade; we haven't gotten around to getting every building back down to VS. We overbarricaded the Ablett Arms for about a week, per a pending rumor of a zombie attack; that's it. Consult our barricading policy on our wiki if you have any questions.
It also came to light, in reading your forum, that apparently your member 'Clone' ('Cloned' ingame) has been being a prick for awhile now. I quote:

Hey Matt I found a way to piss em off: Go to their NecroTech buildings and smash their generators. I'm doing it in Walbutton, almost got it destroyed with my fire axe.
I am currently polling our membership as to how we will respond. (FYI, this is pretty tolerant on our part. For our allies the D.D.D.S., and most other survivor groups for that matter, Cloned would go straight to their PK list.)
If you'd like to attempt to explain your behavior, please do so on our forum (follow link from wiki).
Let me make our stance clear:
Any attack on an RCDC member, or any of our allies = war.
Destroying our generators = war.
Shouting you're going to kill us all = war.
I feel that your planned move to Rolt Heights is a great idea. Actually, I hear Old Arkham is nice this time of year. Try to recall, once you get wherever you're going, that zombies--not generators, and not RCDC--are your enemy.

Thanks for your reasoned and productive response, 'dude.'
Look: from what Cloned said--and his attacks on our members, some of the other posts on your board, and the graffiti--it sounded like [Newgrounds] had declared war on us, and for no apparent reason. Most UD groups would've gone straight to defcon1 and hunted you all down like dogs. Now it looks like Cloned was just running his mouth, and you're relocating anyway; maybe when this is all over we'll all have learned something. Even, um, the "faggots" among us (what's up with the blatant homophobia apparent in many [NG] posts, anyway?).
That stated, I don't run the group. We're currently voting on our response. Initial poll results suggest that we're in favor of banning your entire group from Rhodenbank, and Cloned is probably going on our PK list. The poll closes 8 February; I'll inform you of our decision sometime after that.
Neither of these statuses is permanent; if/when [NG] comes around and starts acting like the badass zombie-killing machine it ought to be, we'll be happy to list you among our many allies and work with you.
Again: if at any time you, Cloned, or any other member of [NG] wants to explain your behavior, please do so on [our forum (http://p4.forumforfree.com/rcdc.html)].
As to how we're going to enforce these decisions: we're hoping we won't have to. All-out war between survivor groups seems really stupid when there's all these zombies around to kill instead.

Wartime Status
Concerned parties ought to skim Newgrounds' entire PUBLIC thread of poorly-spelled and inarticulate jibber-jabber that brought them to this impasse, especially these two posts from [NG] member [Cloned].
In this Maltonian version of the Hatfield-McCoy Feud, RCDC welcomes third-party arbitration or even any mature dialogue with any member of their group. RCDC neither asks for nor expects any help from its allies in this internecine squabble. As Newgrounds has since moved on to Rolt Heights, hopefully this whole tempest in a teacup will just blow over of its own accord.
Until then, though, Newgrounds members who want to stay alive ought to stay out of Rhodenbank.

You chumps came blazing out of left field, attacked us and our gennys, and openly considered becoming a vendetta group on your OPEN forum. When we confronted you, you then refused to justify your actions. We decided to put you down, plain and simple.
It never had to be like this. You chose this, not us. For what it's worth, as far as I can tell, your claim that you replaced our gennys is B.S.
--I suspect that this section, and the one above, should be moved to the discussion tab of this page. Shall we submit it for arbitration again, chum?
