Shadwick Walk Police Department
Paynterton [90,36]
Basic Info:
|
Shadwick Walk Police Department is a police department, actually... it's the only police department to be specific, located in the suburb of Paynterton. This was mostly due to the fact that there was such a low crime rate in Paynterton in the years prior to the "Malton Incident". Not so much because the locals were all law-abiding citizens, but rather because there was nothing to rob or steal, and nothing worth doing in Paynterton. Hoodlums from Paynterton would therefore drift in adjacent suburbs to cause trouble. While this lowered crime rates, it was hardly a satisfactory solution to crime in Malton as a whole.
In the days following the outbreak of the zombie epidemic the police station usually housed around twenty survivors. Shadwick Walk PD is home to many a zed-crushing bad-ass, and is also tastefully decorated with artwork from nearby museums. Survivors are reminded stop by sometime grab some ammo and aid in anti-zombie reclamation efforts across Paynterton.
Description
Humans and zombies alike will see the following (permanent) description when standing outside the building:
"You are standing outside Shadwick Walk Police Dept, a large concrete building with arched windows."
Such a description is always followed by a report of the building's condition (e.g. the level of its barricades), but since that report is never permanent and always subject to change, it is redundant to include it here as well.
Mandate
1) To serve and protect all survivors within a 3x3 block grid of the precinct.
2) To maintain resource building barricades at Very Strongly.
3) To maintain non-resource building barricades within a 3x3 block grid at Extremely Heavily. These buildings will act as safe houses for Free Runners attacking zombie groups in the area.
Barricade Policy
Extremely Heavily Barricaded per Paynterton Barricade Plan.
