Zombies frequently check inside. Portable Generators have a use other than powering the lights and increasing search probability in hospitals. Players with the Surgery Skill can heal for 15 HP if the Hospital has a fueled up Generator. Hospitals are listed as Tactical Resource Points. Hospitals can be barricaded normally. Among the internal descriptions found in Hospitals: "...its wards and corridors blackened with the soot of a recent fire" "...its empty wards criss-crossed with snapped quarantine tape." "...one of the city's psychiatric hospitals." "...dark corridors leading through abandoned wards." "...its emergency room in disarray." "...its lobby covered with quarantine posters." St. Daniel's Hospital (Nixbank) Description A fire-damaged white-stone building, its doorway flanked by statues. History St. Daniel's is the only hospital in the suburb of Nixbank. It serves as a key resource for the suburb, being the only place to find First-Aid Kits for several blocks around. Barricade Policy Keep barricades at EHB. This building is strategically vital to Nixbank, and is consistently a target for Zed assaults. Current Status Jan 20, 2011 - Somebody's locked this place up tight. In the last week, it has not been necessary to raise the barricades, and only two breaches have occurred. Jul 3, 2009 - The Hospital has been turned into an impromptu training ground; fledgling survivors are invited to come practice their first aid and hand-to-hand skills (knives are the recommended implement) on the designated practice dummy.
