St. Marcellus's Church

Description

History

The church were named after St. Marcellus of Tangier, a roman centurion who refused to sacrifice to the roman gods. For this crime against roman laws, he suffered martyrdom. His remains were later brought to the province of León, which he is the patron saint of.
