It is functionally equivalent to a street, except that players with the Tagging skill can gain 2 XP for writing graffiti on a monument. This is, game-play wise, an empty block, and cannot be barricaded. After the July 3, 2009 update, some monuments became tall and can be seen from a distance with binoculars

Description

Humans and zombies alike will see the following (permanent) description when standing in front of the monument:

"You are at the Stanbury Monument, a glass statue of a woman engraved with memorial dates."

PLEASE NOTE: That this is an official revive point maintained by Talon Company and 101st Screaming Eagles (some ex/current members of talon). Killing zombies without brain rot here, or with a zombie group listed as their group, will result in the wrath of Talon Company and 101st Screaming Eaglesand ultimately, you being exiled throughout Shackleville.

As of 5th of September 2010 the Stanbury monument is a joint revive point with Talon Company and 101st Screaming Eagles (the co founders are ex/current members of Talon Company) this has been accepted by members of Talon Company.

Although 101st Screaming Eagles and Talon Company are now defunct groups, this revive point continues to be maintained by their remnants.

Current Status

June 25, 2023: No signs of activity, one zombie waiting for a revive at revive point. Lets make this world alive again.

2012 May 4 01:02 EST A zombie has been seen at monument and Vic, also spotted South West are more.
