20070915 Reward Smart Survivors
Nalikill 15:44, 15 September 2007 (BST)
Suggestion type
Improvement.
Suggestion scope
Survivors who DNA extract with NNA.
Suggestion description
Okay. I know you are tired of these suggestions about reviving- but I think you'll like this one. Right now, it costs more to DNA extract and revive than it does to revive alone-11 AP versus 10 AP. This gives some an incentive to randomly revive. However, if when DNA extracting, if the survivor has NecroNet Access, the Revivify This Specimen button would display a cost of not 10, but 9 AP, then the cost for smart and dumb revives would be equal. Meaning people could still revive their contacts without being punished for not DNA extracting, but those who revive others are no longer punished for being smart and DNA extracting.
Essentials-
- Survivors with NNA who DNA Extract before reviving have a cost of 9 AP to revive the zombie when using the revivify this specimen button
- This doesn't punish those who only revive contacts.
- This discourages combat revives.

Kill Votes
- Kill Unnecesary. Revives are fine as is. --Secruss 15:53, 15 September 2007 (BST)
Spam/Dupe Votes
- Spam/Dupe There was an incredibly similar suggestion not to long ago, but I can't be bothered to find it. And there will always be a cost to make sure you don't revive a pker or a rotter, 1AP is worth not having to find another generator or another needle. And finally...DO NOT MESS WITH REVIVE RATES!--Wooty 15:59, 15 September 2007 (BST)
- Dupe - Essentially identical to the peer-reviewed Syringe Hack skill that Wooty refers to above. The only difference is that the existing suggestion requires a new skill (subskill of NNA) and this one rolls the ability in as part of NNA. Which, truth told, is a good idea, but Kevan usually makes such tweaks when implementing suggestions anyhow. Swiers 16:30, 15 September 2007 (BST)
- Dupe - clearly dupe of Seb's suggestion --~~~~ [Talk] 16:30, 15 September 2007 (BST)
