- Spam Because Kevan can check people's IPs, he can ban any person who zerged --JudeMaverick W!TJ! 09:55, 16 May 2007 (BST)
- --BlackScarletLove 20:42, 16 May 2007 (BST) Of course, if it is obvious that people are zerging then their IPs can be banned, this is no regarding obvious zerving, it is regarding the countermeasures that may be employed against people who do not know they are in close proximity of their other alts. And how is this spam, might I ask? How is this a ridiculous question? Your comment on it was not even regarding the actual point of the question I was making, which was, again, the accidental instigation of zerg countermeasures against an unsuspecting individual, not regarding intentional zergers.
- Re: Well, the suggestion pretty ridiculous for this sentence, "I propose that when you get within a set radius of another of your characters, a warning appear letting you know to basically, turn around or you may be a victim of unfortunate anti-zerging countermeasures." If there is another Mall Tour going on and one of your multi is at the location of the tour, but you forgot the password, YOU GOT WARNED. The system is currently good enough and not much people care about warnings. The suggestion is good but pretty ridiculous to me so unless you change your suggestion by a bit that will convince me, I will change to Keep --JudeMaverick W!TJ! 09:34, 17 May 2007 (BST)

- Re: Even if you were at a "Mall Tour" and you were warned, what difference does it make from not being warned? The same things will happen either way, but this gives legitimates a chance to know possibly why they are having such a streak of bad luck in dice rolls. It doesn't matter how many people don't care about warnings, warnings are only there for the people who care about them, obviously. No one would purposely install a warning in the hopes that the people who ignore warnings would read it. --BlackScarletLove 10:18, 17 May 2007 (BST)
- Re: Can't blame you though since you're a new member. But I hate annoying pop-ups and if it's gonna appear on the game like "TURN BACK! YOU WILL BE BANNED FOR ZERGING!", Oh NOEZ! Not only that, newbies know very well to run away or stand up as a zombie if they're a victim of zerging... somehow... We want the game to not have annoying messages unless it's April Fools or something so I will put this still as spam till you convince me. --JudeMaverick W!TJ! 10:25, 17 May 2007 (BST)
- Re: *shrugs* I honestly do not put that much value in your one vote to try and further convince you of anything you are determined against. /:| Hey, whatever... --BlackScarletLove 16:26, 17 May 2007 (BST)
- Re: Wow, it's on the talk page :O Anyway, at least this is a good suggestion but too ridiculous to me for the warning part. It's already good enough to have a ban system than a warn system because not much people care about warning than banning so I wish you good luck on your suggestion. Oh, and advice is not try Re-ing every negative part because it's considered Spam :( --JudeMaverick W!TJ! 09:25, 18 May 2007 (BST)

- This is the only system we got to prevent zerging. And you want it to be told "You are in an area where your two characters are zerging. Please get out now to avoid penatlies", thereby nerfing that only system? You got proxies and extra IPs for getting passed the zerging penatlies, for crying out loud! Put this in, and you get rid of the only feeble defense between Urban Dead and Urban Zerg. NO!.--ShadowScope 02:54, 17 May 2007 (BST)
- Re: If people want to zerg, they are going to zerg whether they get a warning about antizerging countermeasures or not. And especially I believe that people who zerg probably KNOW about the countermeasures. It's like those "Shoplifters will be prosecuted" signs in stores. Those who are going in there to steal know that there are penalties without having to be told. And as I said above, if there are countermeasures and you were warned, what difference does it make from not being warned? The same things will happen either way, but this gives legitimates a chance to know possibly why they are having such a streak of bad luck in dice rolls. It is a warning sign to people who ARE NOT ZERGING, not those who intentionally are doing so despite the consequenses. Give newbies and people who don't know the city like the back of their hand a break. --BlackScarletLove 10:18, 17 May 2007 (BST)
- Nope. If you are missing every single attack, you found the countersigns and need to move. And, let be honest, REing every person's vote won't change their views.--ShadowScope 19:30, 17 May 2007 (BST)
