- Spam - God I hate the number of ways survivors insist on wasting AP. There is already graffiti in the game, why do we need another level of graffiti (chalk messages) on top of that, and the speech, and the radio broadcasts... meh. It's just another crap message suggestion, like post-it notes, fliers, etc., etc., etc. -- boxy • talk • 12:27 10 October 2007 (BST)
- Re Actually, I find spraypainting to be pretty useful. It's the only way to get a message to everyone in a room past 50 people, or to mark revive points, or entry points. The other day I noticed a PKer in a room when I was low on AP and spraypainted a wanted poster on the wall. The guy got shot soon after. Imagine this sequence on a chalkboard: "CASEY HOSPITAL BREACHED 12 ZED -Sam. Stopped by hospital, all clear now but PD invaded. -Bill. Still 1 Z in PD, but entry point overcaded. - Re: - If you were replacing the current graffiti option for indoors locations with your chalkboard, well maybe... but this is just adding another level of graffiti on top of the current lot. Blah, blah, blah. And surely you know that the typical usage of this wont be for "zed reports", it'll be for the stupid, the nonsensical, misinformation or for flaming 99% of the time... just like every other form of survivor communication so far... in other words, spam! -- boxy • talk • 11:04 11 October 2007 (BST)
- RERE Seeing how spray cans and chalkboards have different purposes I don't think eliminating spraypainting makes sense. And while I agree that this will MOSTLY result in worthless crap isn't that pretty much true for every form of media known to man?
