Talk:Bad Suggestions
Zombie Loses Skills
Id prefer the original wording for the 'zombie looses skills' entry. It was meant as an example of a bad suggestion that has been brought up time and again followed by the reason that its bad. Perhaps we could move the imbalance up into the What makes a bad suggestion suggestion, or maybe append it as another specific example of something contrary to design goals. I dunno. I'll wait and see if anyone agrees with me or changes it themselves. --Amazing Rando 19:56, 21 Sep 2005 (BST)
- I changed it because I wanted to put the 'imbalance' problem up front and separate it from the specific example. I think your idea of moving the 'imbalance' part up to the top is better. Like you said, probably better to wait for more opinions... --RodgerYoung 20:13, 21 Sep 2005 (BST)
Grenades
What is "The potential for abuse is astronomical, no matter what kind of limitations are put in place." supposed to mean, for grenades? Surely something like "10 damage divided between everyone in the block, or 1 damage to 10 random people if there are more than 10" would be alright? --Spiro 20:31, 21 Sep 2005 (BST)
- I agree that "the potential for abuse" isn't much of a factor. But this one needs to stay in Bad Suggestions not because it's unworkable in and of itself, but because the suggestion has been made so many times that making it again is Bad. --Stankow 20:35, 21 Sep 2005 (BST)
- I've made an as-yet-unused Annoying Suggestions page for the over-and-over-and-over again ideas that pop up.--mortimer shank 21:23, 21 Sep 2005 (BST)
