Recent QJ Takeover
- Thanks to the wiki, we can all see that QJ has only established Chaffey as of a few days ago as their HQ. While they can certainly claim a building and begin to try to enforce their rules upon those who visit, that does not mean their de facto rules apply universally. Due to the proximity to Dowdney Mall and Santlerville itself, Chaffey is a common law building in both neighborhoods, that is, many survivors from both areas frequent this building.
- That being said, Five Critics and their allies will use this building as they do any other building in the area. We welcome QJ into the area, as we know there is plenty of space for neighbors. --Benzac 23:43, 30 May 2007 (BST)
- Though I am not really part of this discussion, I do know that Queer Jew has been around in Heytown and neighboring suburbs for a long time. In their original hey-day(a year or two ago I guess) QJ used to occupy Chaffey PD and used it as their base in Heytown. And then they dropped off the radar for a while, though one of their members, Malton Rabbi has been active in Heytown during this time. I agree, however, that resource buildings - especially those in close proximity to malls - are less than ideal places to hold court. --EtimS 00:04, 1 June 2007 (BST)
- Precisely. Being threatened by a group that hasn't existed in 2 years seems a tad ridiculous. Co-existing seems like a very suitable activity. Thanks EtimS--Benzac 04:55, 1 June 2007 (BST)
- We fully appreciate that Chaffey will be used as a normal PD by other players, and we're not suggesting that it shouldn't be. We're not threatening anybody. We don't kill other players. That's not the Queer Jew way. Let's all be friends, right? Everybody is welcome at Chaffey anytime. Apart from Five Critics.
- No, I'm kidding - Five Critics are our friends too. As one of Malton's oldest surviving player groups, it's our duty to lead by example. Killing other players at Chaffey will be taken as a slight against QJ, but we're big enough not to seek petty revenge. --Benway 10:42, 1 June 2007 (BST)
