- To answer your question, the stables are barricadable. They are currently VSB and acting as an entry for the farmhouse which is currently at EHB. There are about 10 survivors at the farmhouse and 3 without free-running at the stables last I looked. Someone said the garage and barn were at VSB but I haven't personally been there. All farm buildings have power but no transmitter.(let me fix that sig. sorry)--Mvario 04:47, 17 November 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks, I was hoping it would be so, so there could be an EHB building out that way.--G-Man 15:03, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
- You may want to consider giving the barricade plan its own page, and linking it on the Northeast page. With the suburbs in Borehamwood being so large its a bit much to digest more than one map of the entire suburb on the same page. Anyway, just a suggestion. --Zarneverfike 08:44, 17 November 2008 (UTC)
- Actually it is already set up as a template (The only one, as the suburb is too large for mutiple large templates on one page, although they do exist for the other two maps). I'll get another Tinyurl and specific page set up for it though, it should help solve the problem.--G-Man 20:16, 17 November 2008 (UTC)
- Done, links should bring you to a seperate page with just the barricade plan, or suburb map included. Barricade plan has a seperate tinyurl now as well. Thanks for the imput.--G-Man 20:27, 17 November 2008 (UTC)
Naming whilst mapping
By and large there will be no location pages for individual locations (that is specific named places rather than generic buildings such as "a factory") in Borehamwood yet.
If our intrepid mappers could please check their links after they update their entries, if their link is blue (i.e. live) then chances are that it's a name already used by a place in Malton. As per wiki naming conventions the link should be altered.
For example, The Shiel Building is in both Malton and West Borehamwood.
The link [[The Shiel Building]] directs a user to The Shiel Building in Malton.
The Borehamwood link should be rendered as [[The Shiel Building (Borehamwood)|The Shiel Building]] which will be a red (i.e. dead) link until the page is created, for example The Shiel Building.
In time disambiguation pages will need to be made to allow users to find the two locations from one search, and utilising these naming conventions now will allow us to find them easier to perform these tasks.
Doing this helps the newbies find where there are, especially players who have come aboard with this new promotion and may not yet be familiar with Malton.
Cross posting this to all Borehamwood suburb talk pages so that everyone sees it.
