This is an unauthorized use of templates designed by and for the Soldiers of Crossman. We welcome other groups to seek inspiration from our page design, but we spent many hours working on it, and we value the distinctiveness that we created for ourselves. While we cannot stop you if you are determined to use our designs, we would like to appeal to your sense of what's right, and hopefully get you to understand that you shouldn't be copying designs from other people. If you need any technical pointers on how you can make your own design, feel free to hit us up for help on the matter, since the wiki is a better place when more people know how to use it. Helpful stuff for people new to UD and for wiki usage:

  • You can see your profile id by clicking on your name in game, which shows your profile, the link is your profile id, copy/paste it in the member list on the first page down. A map of the suburbs is here, a map of Darvall Heights is here (scroll down). You can find help for editing wiki pages here, also in wiki editing, you always end your messages with four tildes - ~~~~ like this, which produces this -> DarthRevan 10:06, 23 February 2009 (UTC) This way we have an idea how fresh or outdated the information is.
  • Time to sound stupid but how do you make those lines Troy11556 03:30, 24 February 2009 (UTC)
  • By holding shift and pressing the button that is placed next to 1, above tab and below escape. No worries, no one is born knowing everything. DarthRevan 06:33, 24 February 2009 (UTC)
  • my sincerest appologies if im speaking out of turn here, but i havent been an enlisted SoC for long (been helping as an independant for a bit of time though) and was wondering if there are any dedicated duties yet (i.e. soldier, reviver, medic scout etc)? if not then if there a basic equipment list (eg. two syringes, two medkits assorted weapons)? is there a structure of command? this isnt a complaint, far from it, more of a question - Bromhead 17:09, 16 March 2009 (UTC)
  • You are definitely not out of line or anything like that. I appreciate the question, I was going to write few things but just didn't have time for it yet. As far is it goes concerning dedicated duties - there are none yet. There's no chain of command nor any particular structure. I've kind of acted as an unofficial leader but there will be elections for leadership as well as positions (once we make a good structure or chain of command, which would be also voted and put through people opinions etc). Our main priority now is to retake Darvall Heights. Once that is taken care of, will move on to big recruitment, organizing ourselves and other factors that may play a role. As per equipment I always try to have a bit of everything - 2/3 syringes, 3 medkits and of course ammo/axe, radio, mobile phone. Of course it depends on the situation but this is the minimum I try to have at most times and that I suggest. The most important is syringes and medkits (for obvious reasons) and I put them at higher priority then ammunition.

When it comes to leadership and basic structure I would suggest we use the LCD structure, which we had in the past and with which you are all too familiar. Of course this will be debated and discussed, don't worry though I've taken into consideration a lot of things and planned out few scenarios or ways that the group may go, which I will outline once we get Darvall Heights back. Now that we have a forum (see 'contact' on the main page for link) things will be way faster and easier.

Zod, anyone else thoughts? DarthRevan 06:22, 17 March 2009 (UTC)

Reports

Hopefully all of us have resupplied and are ready to move. I've broadcasted our next targets (if you haven't got radio tuned to our frequency get one), disperse evenly, don't get all bunched up in one building. Our revive point is Cottingham Plaza in Darvall Heights [28, 22]. Sev reports that there are:

  • 3 z outside Tayler Department, ruined.
  • 7 z outside Stonnard NT, ruined.
  • 6 z outside Smithfield, loosely barricaded.
  • 2 z outside Waddington, ruined.
  • 2 z outside Pius's Hospital, ruined.
  • 4 z outside Eutychian's Hospital, ruined.
  • Crossman Department is empty and ruined.

We are to rebarricade all the buildings in the vicinity of our target zone, assist survivors (few are present), revive people on Nurten Avenue (our usual revive point) or Cottingham Plaza should one of us dies. Everyone should have at least one or two syringes with them just in case. As such our main objectives are 1) Rebarricade 2) assist survivors 3) revive when possible 4) Help your brother if he/she's in need.

Check this page and report when you can. DarthRevan 05:59, 11 March 2009 (UTC)

  • We've got a lot of ferals and a lot of ruined buildings, but nothing we can't handle. As long as we don't gather all together in one building and disperse evenly, like Cortonna mentioned things will be fine. I've rebarricaded the Stothert Building (4 zombies outside) back to VH, healed few people. >Sev 07 06:22, 11 March 2009 (UTC)
  • Stonnard Building is caded to very heavy and powered. One survivor inside with a dozen zeds either right outside or next door. 1/2 of the surrounding buildings are ruined. Daemon93 13:26, 11 March 2009 (UTC)
  • Zombie inside the Stothert building eliminated, building back to EH. 4 zombies outside. -Johnny Rico 14:12, 11 March 2009 (UTC)
  • 2 zombies inside Crossman, 1 down to 16 hp, 7 AP to repair the building, ruined and opened. 2 zombies also in Stothert, the building hasn't been ruined yet so try to rebarricade it. One zombie outside Goodson. -Johnny Rico 01:31, 12 March 2009 (UTC)

Mall Tour

AHM NAHM NAHM NAHM! Be eating you soon. Sincerely, the Mall Tour. --Johnny Bass 15:21, 16 February 2009 (UTC)

The Shambling Seagulls would like you to know that you were truly delicious, if a little short on brainz. Have fun kiddywinks! Soddball

Well what we don't make in numbers yet, we make up in quality. But we are working on the first part. Nice to see the Shabling Seagulls "alive" again. Certainly reminded me of the good ol' days. DarthRevan 04:51, 20 February 2009 (UTC)

Awww, I missed it. --Zod Rhombus 19:17, 7 March 2009 (UTC)

I'm BACK!

Just woke up from a looong sleep. Love the way the group is progressing. Darvall is in a bit of a mess, eh? If I can keep from getting chomped, I'll rendezvous with you soon! It really warms my heart to see so many dedicated to the Darvall/Crossman cause. I look forward to meeting new members soon. --Zod Rhombus 19:16, 7 March 2009 (UTC)

Good to see you back old friend ;), we've got a lot of work ahead of us heh. If you die on your way, don't worry I have plenty of syringes. -Johnny Rico 04:41, 8 March 2009 (UTC)

Glad to see you are back Zod! -Daemon93 13:22, 11 March 2009 (UTC)

Glad to be back and to see all of you carrying on the great work of CDF/LCD! --Zod Rhombus 01:11, 14 March 2009 (UTC)

Concentrated, Dedicated PKer

Ah, thank you for redirecting me here.
Anyways, I hope you all stay safe from zombies.
For it is my wish to kill you!
But don't worry, if I see a one of you shambling about as a dead head, I will drag it out of my heart to revivify you.
Remember, I only go after LIVING SoC!
Anyways, all of you have fun playing Urban Dead, whether you be new or seasoned.

Thanks ;) Revives are always welcomed. We'll be on the look out for you as well hehe. I wish you fun in hunting us. So take care friend DarthRevan 08:23, 14 May 2009 (BST)

A hunt is always good, and I hope to have fun hunting all of you. Concentrated 22:44, 14 May 2009 (BST)

A little tip

Try not to look important. The enemy may be low on ammo http://www.urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=1180155 this fellow told us he was going to make a run for some faks. when he could have done it quietly without attracting any attention :) --Suffery 21:08, 5 July 2009 (BST)

Most of us here are veterans, since the very begining of the game. Of course occasionally someone slips some info I guess. And you are a feral, a pker or pro-survivor? DarthRevan 16:01, 20 July 2009 (BST)

member removal >_>

ok, your group seems like they are pretty good and all but I'd like to request the removal of a few members under the terms that they are trenchcoaters and will give you a bad reputation...

Coleironhelm this character I admit has necrotech and heal abilities but fits the Trenchcoaters description extremely well... he also shot 20 shotgun shots into me while I was attempting a rotters revive because I "was raiding the city" even though I claim to be completely feral in nature and refuse to meta-game when not necesary (excluding revives)

lemontea1 I had finally gotten a rotters revive and had been busy reviving people when this guy began unloading pistol clips into me because: I had brain rot (along with every survivor and/or zombie skill in-game), I had zombie skills in general, I was reviving the enemy, I was an "enemy", I was a "death cultist" even though I have only PKed the man known as spongebobzombiepants for BEING a death cultist, and a few others... I find him to be a trenchcoater other then those reasons because he appears to be avoiding NT abilities... he is also the reason the first guy killed me as a zombie...

notice that I will shoot these two along with any others I find in your group who appear to be trenchcoaty on sight with no remorse as I hate trenchcoaters and am tired of their antics >_>

one more thing, I added you to the list on shuttlebank as I've only been killed by your "members" there... --Crazy Hobo Man 01:07, 22 August 2009 (BST)

in the event that you ARE a trenchcoater group, I'd like you to get someone to zombify you, take a shotgun, and start fucking you in the ass while they pull the trigger >_>

People play the game in vastly different ways from one another. Some like to player kill, some like to shoot zombies, some like to munch on brains, others to destroy generetors. Do you honestly think I am going to remove people, because you thought them to be trenchcoaters? SoC has it's goals to achieve, how people roleplay is entirely their own choice, just as it is your choice to play in whatever way you want. Of course something interfering with SoC goals (player killing for example) will be not tolerated. Since those people you mention haven't done such acts that go against SoC I don't see anything wrong in it. We don't promote trenchcoating but we certainly won't kick out people for doing it. So yeah, it's just a game try not to whine too much about people, makes you look like you are on the same level. And if I hate trenchcoaters myself, I hate whiners even more.
Cheers,
Cortonna, DarthRevan 04:42, 24 August 2009 (BST)
