Zombie Hunter Death = Loss of Headshot Skill
To the author: Losing XP is NOT the same as losing a skill! Losing a skill is the same as losing a skill. By your logic, zombies who get revived should lose Vigor Mortis, because they're obviously no longer long-dead and experiencing those effects. How would you enjoy logging in only to discover that the Ankle Grab you'd just bought was gone? Headshot just forces zombies to play a bit safer (stand in groups, not solo when they sleep) when they're going for a skill. My zombie suffered several headshots and still managed to gain levels at a regular rate. Why? Because I sought out hordes when I was low on AP. I didn't stand right in front of a safehouse while wearing a sign that said "Please, murder me in the night!" Bentley Foss 17:07, 23 Nov 2005 (GMT)

Commenting on this comment: Re - It would only track whether your last action was speaking or not. If the "spoke on last action" switch is on, you're charged an AP, if not, it's free. Pretty simple condition IMHO. --Antrobus178 20:19, 23 Nov 2005 (GMT)
Actually, it's not that simple. It does have to keep track of what your last action is in a way. Basically, when you make an action, it has to do one of two things: update the "spoke on last action" flag to either on or off, or check the flag and then update if there has been a change. If I'm wrong, feel free to correct me. — G026r 22:27, 23 Nov 2005 (GMT)

Please, people, do not abuse of the Spam vote. This should be used only to speed up the removal process of a duplicate suggestion, not as an exclamation mark to the Kill vote. --Seagull Flock 16:11, 24 Nov 2005 (GMT)
- It IS a duplicate. "Spam - Shallow Grave --Fixen 20:41, 23 Nov 2005 (GMT)" --Shadowstar 16:43, 24 Nov 2005 (GMT)
- I've read Shallow Grave and there are differences between the two suggestions. That's not my point anyway, I'm not arguing about the Fixen's spam or the others pointing to duplicate, but to the other two or three that don't mention the duplication. They could have used the Kill. Incidentally, another point. I can understand that the suggestion itself might be shitty or a revisited version of another shitty one, but that's not a reason to make fun and throw rotten tomatoes at the suggestor. --Seagull Flock 17:32, 24 Nov 2005 (GMT)

Burning Fever
- I think this skill would work best if it worked when the infected survivor was in a building, so that he thought some (determined randomly) zombies coming in the door were humans. It makes quite a bit of sense that someone with a heavy infection would develop a high fever, and the fever would cause hallucinations and feelings of paranoia. Maybe it should also require that the survivor have low HP (10-15 or fewer), so that he would be susceptible to hallucinations. I would make it so that some zombies show up as humans, but all humans show as humans, so no one gets tricked into PKing; it would just mean that something that looked like a human could actually be a zombie. Seriously, this fits the theme of the game so well, I absolutely cannot understand why people are so negative about it. --Dickie Fux 00:23, 24 Nov 2005 (GMT)
- Re: Yeah, I can see the problems with PK, but it should definately still work with hallucinations working the other way around. I also like the HP part, means you've been infected for a while. --Giltwist
