Pass me a beer
Timestamp: | Duke Garland 14:06, 31 March 2007 (BST) |
Type: | Skill, feature |
Scope: | everybody, role playing |
Description: | survivors can pass bottle of beer or bottle of wine to one another, to zombie.
there's already a lot of such situations that happen in text talk. would be nice to be actually able to do it. technical: beer/wine gets the same drop-down list as first aid kits. may be funny to be able to pour some beer to barricades, by the way. this action takes 1 AP and beer disappears from inventory immedeately. Recieving person has a message about it and 2 buttons - take beer (1 Ap, it gets to inventory) or decline (0 AP, bottle disappears and doesn't return to anywhere). sorry if there is already such a suggestion somewhere, i haven't found it. |

I suggested something similar to this in Give Items. I like your idea better because there is little chance of exploitation by just passing beers around. --Kai Tan Sying 31 March 2007 08:13 (MST)
Hell yes! Plus you'll get the votes of all the alcoholics out there. (You know who you are...) --Uncle Bill 15:34, 31 March 2007 (BST)
Thats a keep vote from this acoholic (cheers bill!) I would even suggest taking away the 1AP to accept the bottle. I would also like to see 'drunkeness' in the game, perhaps like Nexuswars -5% attack penalty and +1 melee damage? Bar Brawlers of the world unite, we have nothing to lose but our sobriety!!! --Honestmistake 17:11, 31 March 2007 (BST)
It's essentially like: That suggestion.--Bluish wolf 17:23, 31 March 2007 (BST)
- good point. so i guess there's no much point to move this for voting then, or? the only difference is that in my sugg "recieving" side doesn't drink beer automatically. (i.e. not making other people drunk whithout their permission) --Duke Garland 17:40, 31 March 2007 (BST)
- Of course that suggestion is well over 12 months old now so a reminder to Kevan that we all really like it would do no harm? --Honestmistake 00:19, 1 April 2007 (BST)
I like the bit about choosing to accept it or not. That's part of the charm. I say suggest away, just make sure it's different enough not to be called a dupe. --Uncle Bill 05:42, 1 April 2007 (BST)
