Scratch n Sniff Shot M Tek, and then a bunch of other people also shot M Tek

Hey, I was just in Bale mall SE, when I ap'ed out, the funny thing is that before I ap'ed out, I noticed that Scratch n' Sniff was shooting me. I was wondering if you put me on some sort of enemies list, or if this is just an isolated incident, if it was an isolated incident, then I'll take care of bidness myself if its all the same to you. Even someone as braindead as you should see the difference between INACTIVE member and NON-member. Both active and inactive group members are considered to be under our protection, and thus you should not attack either - unless you want us to get medieval on your ass.

I would like also to request that you stop insulting members of the group. Even self-admitted zerging PKers like you should have a sense of honor.

Our forum at http://webmouton.pingouin.ca/ud/ seems to be down, or at least I cannot access it since yesterday.

No 404, just a blank white page with nothing on it.

• Not all data is lost. The Matrix registry was partially duplicated in my old UDtool list, and I think I had a couple pages from the Matrix also archived.

Accusations

My character, Jim Lowrey, was accused of being a zerging alt of Zaknrfama and was killed by one Eric Walton of The Abandoned. We are most definitely not the same person. Zak is a close friend of mine, and while I do support his actions, I also help out the YRC and various groups when I can. Please call off your member and his inane accusations. There have been information leading to a suspicion (and only suspicion) of Jim and Zak being the same person, however no actions nor accusations were to be taken against Jim unless we found solid proof on this suspicion being true.

Jim was placed on our watch list of people that were to be monitored for any hostile actions towards our group - no member of The Abandoned is supposed to do so much as lift a finger against any one of these people, at least not until they start acting hostile towards The Abandoned.

If you take a look on the Member List on our group page, Eric is listed as an inactive member. This means he failed to report in a forum thread meant for this purpose - these threads stick on the forums for quite a while, so it's hard to miss them when visiting.

Also, there is proof of him killing two other players, NONE of whom has ever been on our suspect or hostile list - see the screenshot yourself.

The group did not authorise any of these actions, nor was aware of him committing them.

In all respect, Eric can be considered a rogue agent. We will attempt to contact him, but if he commits murder again, he will presumably be listed as an enemy of the group.--The Fifth Horseman 13:12, 26 May 2006 (BST)

Radio Broadcasts?

Apparently we're nabbing the 26.61 MHz band for in-game communications. But to be blunt I'm still at a bit of a loss of how we should go about setting up our transmitters, much less where. And what type of info should we limit (if any limits are needed) to broadcasting? --MorthBabid 09:33, 12 June 2006 (BST)

Well, we at the Abandoned are setting up a radio code for our own communications. There are just too many people, not to mention zombies, listening in. When it comes to messages important to the YRC, we'll make sure it remains uncoded, of course :)

As for information limits, in general, I think if you realise who´s listening in, you can pretty much decide for yourself what to say when. Just don´t go mentioning your location.

And as for where to set up transmitters, the most usefull places are propably the recource buildings. But they get destroyed constantly, and the only way to really make sure you can broadcast is by carrying transmitter, genny and fuel yourself. Still, I found you're usually able to find an active one nearby. People seem to enjoy setting up such things. --Doubler 10:57, 12 June 2006 (BST)
