Description

Tanner Auto Repair was a small automotive repair shop located in the suburb of Pescodside alongside the border with Dulston to the north. The auto repair shop was started this business in 1981 and has been successfully servicing vehicles for commercial customers ever since. With over two decades in the industry, the Tanner Auto Repair had strong ties within the Pescodside community and enjoyed unprecedented loyalty and customer satisfaction. The shop offered a full range of auto repairs ranging from oil changes and maintenance to engine work, but specialized in car and truck repairs. In addition, the towering stacks of tires in the garage were a silent tribute to the shop's role as a full-service center and the exclusive dealer for Goodyear tires in Pescodside. Clients included local residents as well as state and government accounts. Additionally, the staff would offer unbeatable warranties on their work.

After the "Malton Incident" the auto repair shop has seen no business, as one would rightly assume. Survivors taking shelter inside the garage or adjoining company office find little comfort here or among a bed of tires. Still, when faced with the alternative, namely being eaten by zombies outside, most survivors are willing to wake up with a pain in their back so long as they wake up alive.

Barricade Policy

This building should be Very Strongly (VS+2) barricaded at all times. This is in accordance with the mutually agreed-upon Pescodside Barricade Plan set forth by local survivor groups and the Dulston Alliance, who routinely work together to monitor that the barricades for this building are at the aforementioned level. This building is meant to serve as a shelter for Malton's inexperienced survivors and entry point into other nearby fortified buildings.

Survivors who find the building's barricades below their assigned level are asked to assist in raising them back up in order to help ensure the safety of all the survivors staying inside the building. Any survivor found lowering the barricades may be directly "put to the question" by any member of the Dulston Alliance or vigilante-minded survivor if caught in the act. If this happens the accused survivor is required to present a valid reason for their actions or be labeled a zombie spy/death cultist and be judged accordingly. So always be cautious lest you find yourself summarily executed for crimes against humanity.

Survivors are reminded that should any member of the Dulston Alliance who finds the barricades raised higher that Very Strongly without any apparent danger to the building or area they have the authority to lower the barricades back down to Very Strongly in order to restore access to the building from the outside.

Current Events

September 24th, 2008 - The Electric Light Torchestra recon reported that the auto repair shop, while ruined, was empty of zombies. Survivors could, in a pinch, reclaim and rebarricade the building.

September 14th, 2008 - The Electric Light Torchestra recon reported that the auto repair shop was in ruins. At this time there were 2 zombies inside, but no zombies were outside.

June 3, 2008 - The building status is VHB a portable generator is fueled and powering the building and a radio transmitter set to 26.36 seems like the barricade plan isn't being followed in the suburb.--Firefighter00789 01:15, 3 June 2008 (BST)
