The Colonist Project
Abandonment
The Colonist Project is now defunct. We had just finished recolonizing Peddlesden Village and Chudleyton when the RRF and friends came around. Unfortunately, our best efforts were in vain...Even with 37 members we didn't have enough man power to keep recading. Who knows what the future holds for Malton...
The Vision of a New Malton
There was a dizzying rush of adrenaline as the young JR Peters stood up. He was clutching his head when he remembered what he saw as a zombie: devastation of major survivor populations. While he was wrapped up in his requiem, the scenery of Gee Avenue faded away, and he was lost in a vision, a vision which had revealed to him the secret to winning the war against the undead! He left South Blythville soon after to gather as many survivors as possible to wage a new type of war on the undead...
What Had He Seen?
The vision had shown him two images, if you would wish to call these glorious revelations such. The vision had him observe a group of the undead attack some survivors, all of whom were equally healthy. It made the zombies confused, and their efforts lost coordination because all the targets were equally valid. As JR Peters watched, the survivors became buildings, buildings he recognized from the days of his youth here in Malton, but the zombies stayed the same. The effortless simplicity of this idea carried such weight that it rendered JR unconscious for days. When he awoke, he rushed to the nearest 6 buildings and with herculean effort, barricaded them until there simply was no room left for the smashed furniture he gathered. "It will work," he thought, "I will found a colony for the living, even if it is amidst the perils of the undead, for we cannot truly value our labors if they never have to be defended!" And with that, JR headed for Tompson Mall (after nearly dying from his infection, which kindly did not hinder him during his epic barricading work).
"Today, we colonize the ruins of Malton...we shall call it home"- JR Peters
The Aims of Colonization
The ideal that all stalwart Colonists should uphold is that they colonize for the greater good of Malton. As survivors present more and more well defended targets, coordination among the zombies will degenerate. Also, doing such will spread the horde thinner and thinner in each area. By thinning the enemy, we make it easier for our militaristic counterparts to execute missions of their own.
The "Thou Shalt's"
- Thou shalt 'cade, kill, dump, heal
- Thou shalt revive thine brother (after careful consideration)
- Thou shalt barricade until thou cannot barricade no more
- Thou shalt colonize all available buildings
The "Thou Shalt Not's"
- Thou shalt not PKest thine brother, lest he PKest thou first
- Thou shalt not flee from a break in
- Thou shalt not heedlessly revive thine enemy
- Thou shalt not Zerg
