Mission Statement
To protect and defend the UD wiki from possible lawsuits due to violations of the UDWiki:Copyrights rule and copyright law in the US and/or the UK.
How to Help
Categorize the wiki images. When you find a copyrighted image, add a Copyright template to it and then add it to the Category:Copyrighted_Images.
How to Help (old)
When you find someone using a copyrighted image without the permission of the author and does not cite the source, place our template on their page. It's simple! Just put {{Copyright Gestapo}} on their talk page to tell the user that they are in violation of the UD Wiki rules and could get Kevan and UD in trouble!

Rules
Make sure that the images on the wiki are appropriately cited (if possible) and to curb the illegal use of copyrighted images. Do not harass other users. Merely place the {{Copyright}} on a image's page (not the talk page), then make sure that you cite the correct owner of the image with a link to the copyright holder. This way, we can contact the copyright holder at a later date and obtain permission to continue using the image, if we need to.
Now Dead Policy
There was a proposal to add a Thirteenth Speedy Deletion Criterion that will allow violations of the UDWiki:Copyrights to be speedy deleted. Discussion on this matter should not be made on this page, but rather under the discussion page of the copyright project.
I might make a far better alternative to that policy which follows Kevan's request here. I'll decide on it later.
