It is functionally equivalent to a street, except that players with the Tagging skill can gain 2 XP for writing graffiti on a monument. Description

Humans and zombies alike will see the following (permanent) description when standing in front of the monument:

"You are at the Neary Monument, an abstract gold sculpture on top of a tall pillar."

History

Built in 1979 originaly as a monument to Paul Hammond, the rich tycoon who owned Gatford Towers, it was torn down during a power outage riot in 1982, replaced with what it is now.
