As such, Malls are frequently used as safehouses and fortresses by survivors. Zombies often check inside (when they can get in), and organized zombie groups sometimes lay siege to them. They are listed as a Tactical Resource Point. Characters with the Shopping skill can loot specific stores. Those without will find these items at random: Bookstore: books, poetry books. Drugstore: first aid kits. Gun Store: pistols, pistol clips, shotguns, shotgun shells. Hardware Store: crowbars, fire axes, flare guns, spray cans, knives, portable generators, toolboxes. Liquor Store: beer, wine. Sporting Goods: baseball bats, Binoculars, cricket bats, fencing foils, golf clubs, hockey sticks, pool cues, ski poles, tennis rackets. Tech Store: GPS units, mobile phones, radios, radio transmitters. Malls are large buildings, and are barricaded as such.

Tynte Mall is a four-block shopping mall in the suburb of Pimbank. The RRF has taken to calling Tynte Mall the Anti-Caiger Mall due to its notoriously weak defense. Allegedly, Tynte Mall has the worst Mall Santa in the city.

While all sections of the mall are usually barricaded to Extremely Heavily, two entry points are kept at Very Strong: Bradbury Library [67, 43], and the Retallick Building [67, 46].

News

April 15^th 2020: Survivors with the Roftwood Communication Center kicked the zombies out and repaired all four corners of the very ruined mall - costing over 160 AP for all four corners combined. Celebratory chain-smoking was conducted across the entire mall for a couple hours before The Dead slaughtered everyone inside and and returned the shopping center to ruins. --ZombGG (talk) 13:31, 17 April 2020 (UTC)

February 21^st 2015: The mall has been rebuilt and barricaded but no survivors presently in the mall. Survivors are struggling to hold the mall possibly because of the minimal survivor presence in the town. --Rent A Troop (talk) 04:03, 21 February 2015 (UTC)
