You are atop the bell tower of St. Augustine's Church, a centuries-old dilapidated structure. The wooden floorboards groan under your weight. The view outside is far and dreary.
- You view the scenery. Dirty buildings make the most of what you see, the vacant windows offering only stillness. The sky is overcast. Not a bird, not a sound, not a thing, happens.
Except to the north. You mistook it for a dark cloud. It's some thin smoke, blackened somewhat from a chemical fire of plastics, paints, whatever. It's not much to go from. But you doubt a zombie set it off, and accidents probably aren't too frequent when the natural state is inactivity. It might be that there is a happening, maybe it is from a careless survivor, or your friends.
