You are inside the red-brick building. It is square and single-level, the windows above taped over. No one has bothered to finish the interior of the walls, seeing as how the red-brick is the same as the outside. Before you is the base of the radio tower on a shifted foundation. Above through an opening is sunlight. Little else is here.
- You say, "Who let me in?" A heavy object scrapes against a surface, sounding as if someone suddenly moved a table in a quiet room. Sunlight pours in. You haven't gone anywhere.
The metal-grey door is right behind you, automatically closed by hydraulics. The area is not unlimited; you can see faintly the surface of red-brick walls. The floor is not smooth at all, but with a great slab of concrete pushed out from the earth below. Embedded within the slab is the base of the radio tower, rising up through an opening in the ceiling above.
Someone calls down from above that opening. The shape of their head blocks a portion of the sun, casting a small shadow on the floor below.
Since your last turn:
- • Someone says "Stand into the light for me, so I can see you better." (6 seconds ago)
- • Someone says "...please." (1 second ago)
Possible actions:
- Stand into the light
Inventory:
- You carry only a whistle, a bent knife and a smashed radio. It has been a long ride. Your blue jeans are shredded; the T-shirt, stretched 2 sizes larger, is more red than white, and your shoes are unaccounted for. Overtop it all you wear a yellow rain jacket. Perched atop your head is a crumpled paper party hat.
