You are in a forest at the western edge of a lake. The forest floor is populated with boulders, and trees grow awkwardly between great shelves of igneous rock. To the southeast is a sharp cliff of lichen-coated rock. To the northeast is a radio tower.
- You head north, stopping when the river opens up into a lake. The world feels opened up. Stepping onto a rock shelf, you look across the lake. The water is still and stubbornly blue, doing little to reflect the grey sky. You can see the water is clear, with a sandy bottom. The tree-line is broken to the southeast at a steep cliff with a bald rock top. Lichen spread across its surface; and you can see, where the lichen isn't, a right-angle cut on the cliff face. A one thousand ton slice has fallen away, a greatly oversized puzzle piece of sorts.
You focus in on a flat green clearing and a building. Above it and badly misangled is a radio tower.
Possible actions:
- Continue north
Inventory:
- You carry only a whistle, a bent knife and a smashed radio. It has been a long ride. Your blue jeans are shredded; the T-shirt, stretched 2 sizes larger, is more red than white, and your shoes are unaccounted for. Overtop it all you wear a yellow rain jacket. Perched atop your head is a crumpled paper party hat.
