You are at a roundabout, and at the middle is the ruins of a granite monument. Apart from a few barriers and abandoned vehicles, the area is bare except for the ruined monument.
- You go straight ahead, passing by the buildings with the dusty window panes and navigating over the bruised and swollen streets. You mount great broken slabs of concrete—pushed up and out with the rain and shifting earth—and drop down the other end; looking behind to the underbelly of those slabs you see pipes and openings to the sewer below. The passage forever lodged and stuck, the corroded pipes have long since flooded the sinking streets.
Eventually, the street you walk converges with others to a roundabout. In the center are the remnants of a granite monument.
Possible actions:
- Approach the ruined monument
Inventory:
- You carry only a smashed radio. It has been a long ride. Your blue jeans are shredded; the T-shirt, stretched 2 sizes larger, is more red than white, and your shoes are unaccounted for. You wear a crumpled paper party hat.
