You are downtown amidst tall corporate towers, condominiums, banks, and expensive hotels. Rubble has encroached onto the street. A narrow path has been cleared between hundreds of jam-packed vehicles.
- You search the area. Rubble has fallen on some of the vehicles, crushing and spreading a fine dust over them. Looking to the culprit, the Nott Museum has succumbed to excessive water damage. The foundations have collapsed, and the entire blocky concrete structure has become angled at roughly 20 degrees.
Next, you examine a news stand. Magazines and newspapers are discoloured and wrinkled by the rainfall. One of the newspapers contains an opinion piece: Zombification: The Grey Between the Living and the Dead. Further down the author writes: ...when someone turns, this is the point where impulsive inhibition is completely overrun... deprive the recently dead of fresh human and it will commence surprisingly human-like activities, such as nail-biting habits and squinting in the sunlight. You scan other the other reading materials but find none of them interesting.
