You are standing atop the roof of Caiger Mall. Some construction has been started for a second floor. Skylights adorn the roof surface in triangular peaks, they look too weak to walk on. Empty spray cans, dried paint cans and frayed brushes litter the ground.
Somebody has spraypainted HELP ALIVE INSIDE onto the ground in large bold lettering.
- You look out into the horde. The zombies claw and bump and prod at the barricaded doors in a fairly routine manner. You swear there might be some crude rhythm, almost an intelligence behind them, but you're not sure.
You notice a large shape dip in and out of view, snaking between the zombies.
