You are on a carpark outside Crew Avenue Police Department, smoke slips out of broken windows. Lines of parked cars have been rusted and worn by the elements. The ground is marked with fresh blood.
There are two zombies here.
- You manage to disentangle the hand from your shirt, but another one wraps around your neck, sinking its crude nails into your flesh. Blood pops free. It really hurts. You elbow backwards into the zombie's gut, but the thing has no instinctual reaction to such things and therefore does not double over; instead, it rakes its fingers laterally across your neck while pushing deeper, cutting too many arteries and in too many places. Your heart pumps the blood from your body and you die.
