A battered portable generator has been set up here. It is out of fuel, and connected to a powered down radio transmitter.
Somebody has spraypainted we made them pay onto a wall.
There are three dead bodies here.
- You say, "I did! Somehow." into the radio. There is another lone response, very flat and reasoned.
Totes adds something more useful.
Then the generator dies.
Look on the bright-side: at least Totes wasn't cut off after the "at," that would have been too preposterous, too coincidental.
