Barriers form rooms suspended in the structure. The doors to the gymnasium have been secured. Also here are Ross (55HP), Izzy (52HP), Karke Mardul (50HP), Franklin Aichon (50HP), Yon (45HP), Reginald Hawkart (43HP), and Doug D. Renolds (28HP).
People have spraypainted tags reading kitchen, garden, sleeping, and holding onto wooden boards placed around the gymnasium.

Izzy studies you silently as the next few seconds pass by, an expression on his face that continues as people climb down from the structure, or come from somewhere between its struts and poles. You can hear a whack, and then see Karke come from behind the cistern, looking like a wet rat. Doug peers down from above with a pale face. The rest, Yon, Reginald, and Aichon—Jen and Tammy somewhere else—look to Ross for some kind of confirmation, then to you who has been held in place by all the movement, only standing and watching it all.
