You are on the shoreline and outside a rickety-old boathouse along Black River. The corrupt waters rush by, bringing with it unsavoury debris. Rotting wooden planks cover muddy ground. A cliff blocks access to the rest of the city, with a dark cave lurking in a recess.
There is a sign here that reads PRIVATE PROPERTY - TRESPASSERS WILL BE PROSECUTED hung near the door of the boathouse.
- You have a look around outside. Although your amnesia and lack of investigatory skills don't presume much, you strongly suspect the boathouse was in disuse before the apocalypse broke out, which changed everything toward the bad. And you suspect, whomever the owner, they would be pleased to know that the windows, although dirtied to lose all transparency, are completely intact and that as well, there is no graffiti to be found.
Looking away from the boathouse, you look further west, where debris and a partial cliff collapse has made any further travel impossible.
