Entry 10: I woke up in another graveyard, my arms and legs covered in blood. I ran away to a hospital and scrounged around for some bandages. I managed to get myself cleaned up alright and a doctor who was there also helped me out.
Entry 9: I left the mall and wandered around till I found a bank. There was nobody there, but there was a radio transmitter and a fueled up generator. I figured whoever put this stuff here would be back soon enough so I took a nap. A few people came in looking for a safe place to hide out. There was an even more ragged man who shuffled in. One of the newcomers, a fierce looking Asian, accused him of being a follower of Barhah or something like that. It must mean something dangerous because the bum started asking everyone to help him and to protect him. Eventually the
Entry 8: I hid overnight at an abandoned club. There were a couple other people hiding out there, but they were asleep when I arrived and when I left. I made my way to a police department and found a pistol. I used one of my pistol clips and reloaded it. I kept my shotgun with me though. I saw a mall next door to the police station and so I slid across a rope to the rooftop. I made my way inside and searched the gun shop. Inside I found a shotgun shell, but didn't want to waste too much time inside. There were quite a few other people hiding out in the mall and the entrances were well barricaded. I also searched the drugstore and got enough supplies to patch up a few of my scrapes. The mall seemed safe enough so I found a quiet enough place under a table and fell asleep.
Entry 7: I fled the graveyard I found myself in and eventually came to a police station. I got inside and gathered up some pistol ammunition. Now I just need to find a pistol. I figure a fort or armory would be useful for that. I also figured out a way to get around the barricades in buildings. The zombies can't climb buildings so beyond the second story most buildings aren't barricaded. I've managed, with a combination of swinging from ropes and leaping from balconies, to circumvent the barricades around buildings. This will come in handy since I'll not have to look for buildings that are too well barricaded to make an entrance from the street level.
Entry 6: I can't remember much over the last couple days. I remember something about being attacked in the building I was hiding in earlier. I woke up in a graveyard, totally disoriented and confused. My pants and coat were flecked with blood and I had a recent bleeding wound on the back of my neck. I felt around in my pockets and at my belt. I still had my shotgun, knife and ax that I found earlier.
Day 5: I left the church again this morning. I found another zombie standing all by itself a few blocks to the east. I stabbed at it once and ran away. Those things are really creepy. I returned to the church and spent the rest of the morning and most of the afternoon there. Later in the evening I set off south, passed St. Christopher's, a fire station, and came up to a tall building with another zombie standing outside of it. I ran over to the door of the building and saw I could easily get in. I stabbed at the zombie standing there a couple times and ran inside. It was some kind of scientific firm office building. There were a couple other people inside, and the barricades looked strong enough for now. As soon as I got inside I sat down on one of the disheveled lobby chairs and fell asleep. I woke up a while later and noticed a newcomer. He was covered in blood and his clothes were torn. He managed to gasp out that he was a victim of a zombie attack and probably infected, then collapsed on the floor. I took out the first-aid kit that I found in the hospital a few days back and tried to clean his wounds. Fortunately the disinfectant seemed to work, it fizzed and burned. I bandaged him up and he seems like he will recover. I'm glad for him, and I hope he sticks around.
Day 4: Sometime while I was asleep someone came and re-fueled the generator running in the church. I don't know who it was, but I'm glad. I decided to take a look outside the church and found another zombie waiting outside. It must have been frozen or asleep because it didn't move as I approached it. I took out my knife and hacked at it, I think I hurt it some. The knife wasn't doing much so I lifted my fireman's ax and took a couple chops at it. I hope its dead, or whatever zombies become when you bash their heads with an ax. I figured I had done it enough damage for now and retreated back to the church. Hopefully the barricades hold, and the zombie doesn't call its friends.
Day 3: The woman I met in the church left today. She didn't say where she was going, but she wanted me to take care of the church. I suppose I'll do that for a while. I left the building again today, walked about seven blocks to the east. This was the first time I came in close contact with a zombie. It was leaning against a warehouse wall. It must have fallen asleep, or whatever zombies do when they're tired. I wanted to run away, but I felt the fireman's ax in my hand and thought that getting rid of this menace would do the world at least a little good. I ran up to the creature and swung down hard with my ax. I'm not sure how hurt it was, but I didn't stay around to find out. I ran back to the church and cleaned off my ax with a strip of cloth I found. It was my first encounter with the undead, but I'm sure it won't be the last.
Day 2: The woman in the church seemed friendly enough, but cautious, of course. I ventured out of the church today looking for some supplies, maybe something to help better barricade the church. I didn't manage to find anything. I looked around the surrounding hospitals and fire stations, hoping they would have something useful in them. I managed to find a first aid kit in a hospital. That will definitely come in handy later on. I returned to St. Aloysius' to rest after my little excursion. From what I hear Kinch Heights isn't too dangerous. I am considering heading out to the east and getting into Dartside. Its supposedly safer, but I don't know how safe any place can be in this city anymore.
Day 1: I quickly ran from the police station I found myself at. I asked around and found out I was in Kinch Heights. I don't know that area too well, but I found a map in the police station and made a rough sketch in a notebook I had with me. I also had my knife and my phone, but nothing else. Leaflets drifted by, one that I noticed was written by one of the infected. It urged me to join their rotted ranks but I threw the paper away, disgusted. I wandered aimlessly for a while. I made it into a club, its doors and windows boarded up, but easy enough to climb through. I found myself some suitable shoes in the back and also a long abandoned coat on the floor. I took them both. I made my way down a few more blocks through a hotel and a hospital. Somewhere along the way I found an ax. That will probably serve as a more efficient tool, and weapon. Finally I came to a church, St. Aloysius'. Inside it was quiet enough. I called hello, and a short blond woman came out of the confessional. She had obviously been fighting for her life now for a long time. Her clothes were bloodstained and torn in places. She almost looked like one of them, but her eyes were intelligent enough to convince me she wasn't.
