Character

Around thirty years old, Colette Whitney is another of Colette Hart's alts. A freelance journalist, the outbreak has turned her into a rather eccentric woman. Almost 1.8 meters tall (179 centimeters), her eyes are blue and intense, her hair is golden and bright, and she always has some sort of elegance in her words and movements. Her dressing style is where her eccentricity is more notable. She is elegantly dressed, with a pale blue ballgown and a diamond necklace. It's hard to fight the zombie hordes dressed like that, but she doesn't mind. She spends a large part of her time grooming herself, so her impeccable appearance is noticeable among most of Malton's citizens. The notebook she holds, however, it's the opposite. Old, with disorganized content and torn pages, but full of stories. Some of them are only half-written, before she decided to abandon them when she lost interest. Others are complete and neatly redacted. Some pages are full of lines and small drawings made by Colette.

Colette Whitney is stubborn, and does everything to achieve her goals once she decides. She likes to observe the people around her. She likes to watch the people in crowded places, where most of the madness usually happens. When something gets her attention, she forgets about everything and concentrates on writing a good story about it in her old notebook.

Playing Style

This was my first and only character dedicated almost exclusively to RPing. That's why I chose her to be a military class character, so she could level up quickly. However, for RPing reasons, she is of the civilian class. Curious and inquisitive, she likes to see things with her own eyes. She always tries to maintain a neutral point of view, but can be rather subjective, like the human she is. She will usually not start troubles, but will answer to a provocation if needed.

Red Mage.gif Roleplaying Notice
Notice: This User or Group enjoys the RPG aspect of MMORPGs, the category of games that Urban Dead falls into. As such, there is probably quite a bit of roleplaying and/or creative writing on this page and in said User/Group's in-game actions. In other words, if you think the difference between IC and OOC is "One has an 'I' and the other has two 'O's," buzz off.

Colette Whitney was a reporter of the [Insert a stereotypical fictitious newspaper name here, such as "The Malton's Herald" or "The Malton Times"]. She was a rookie journalist, with a lot of naïve dreams, who hoped to get more experience and cover the most important news, instead of the cultural events at the museums, small crimes and other less important things she often wrote about. One day, she was working in her office late at night, writing an article about the paintings that were stolen from the Wilson Museum in West Grayside. It was a couple of weeks before the outbreak. She was going to use the paper shredder as usual, when she found a paper sheet lying on the floor, below a desk. It was a letter from the chairman of NecroTech to the editor. In it, it was obvious that Necrotech was giving money to the newspaper, so they would not investigate anything about their experiments. Slighlty disturbed by it, she put the paper on her pocket and continued as nothing would had happened. A few days later, the outbreak began to occur. She was assigned to cover the event along with some of the most succesful journalists of Malton. She saw an obvious link between NecroTech and the outbreak, but everyone refused to believe it. When the military closed the borders of the city, she decided to quit her job. A little too late, since most of her colleagues were already dead... She took a notebook and a pen as weapons, and began walking around the city, writing about the hell of the zombie-infested Malton, and about its inhabitants. She hopes that when the quarantine ends, she can show her work to the whole world. She's still quite naïve...
